Ces compétences ont été acquises sur le tas mais aussi grâce à des formations et discussion avec des chercheurs du domaine (notamment pour les techniques de synchrotron).

Ma thèse m'a permis d'être plus critique avec mes résultats comme avec ceux que je peux lire dans les articles scientifiques. J'ai développé une hypothèse de travail sur une technique de synchrotron (la ptychographie au rayons X mous). Hypothèse que j'ai présenté à différents experts du domaine (qu'ils soient internes à l'équipe comme à des externes). Je suis partage mon bureau avec des doctorants qui travaillent sur des sujets différents du mien, ce qui ne m'empêche pas de les aider et de suivre leurs avancement dans leurs recherches.

Tout au long de mon parcours universitaire j'ai utilisé Zotero et Google scholar pour faire mes recherches scientifiques. Durant ma thèse j'ai découvert researchrabbit.com qui est très intéressant pour la recherche bibliographique, notamment, lorsqu'on change de domaine de recherche. J'ai recommandé cet outil à mes collègues et spécialement aux nouveaux entrants car il permet de faire un travail de recherche bibliographique très efficace au début. Pour la gestion de l'information, je fais des sauvegardes régulières sur des serveurs situés à des endroits différents pour garantir la sécurité et l'accessibilité des informations.

Ma thèse porte sur la préparation de nanoparticules (NPs) de semi-conducteur organique (SCO) pour la production d'hydrogène par dissociation de l'eau par procédé photocatalytique. J'ai donc acquis des connaissances et expertises dans plusieurs domaines comme la préparation de NPs pour des SCO (miniémulsion, nanoprécipitation, utilisation microfluidique), la caractérisation de morphologie de NPs au synchrotron (STXM, ptychographie) et la photocatalyse (production d'hydrogène photo-induite). La compréhension des mécanismes ainsi que des techniques utilisées me permettent de présenter ma recherche de manière structurée.
